Create august account for andriod phone user
- please download august app v24.8.0 from this link
- select download and install.
- open august app and create account
Setting up the August Lock after august account has been created.

Close the August app on your phone.

Download and install a free VPN app (such as Tetra VPN).

Open the VPN app, select "United States" as your location, and activate the VPN.

Reopen the August app after VPN is active and proceed with the lock setup (region error will occur if August app is not reopen after VPN active)

Open the battery cover of the August lock and remove the battery blocker

From the august app select - set up a new device - Enter serial number manually - use product selector - August - Smart lock - Wifi smart lock (ASL-04)

Follow the in app instructions after device is found.

After the lock is successfully set up, you can disable and uninstall the VPN app if you wish.
